On 30/06/24, LAYP successfully hosted its second Charity BBQ event in partnership with Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT). Held at LBM, Romford Road, Manor Park, the event brought together the local community for a day filled with delicious food, engaging activities, and a shared commitment to supporting important causes.
This year’s BBQ focused on raising funds for two critical initiatives: supporting aid to Palestine through Ummah Welfare Trust. With the help of our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of attendees, we were able to raise significant donations for these urgent appeals.
In addition to the fundraising, the event provided an opportunity for local families and individuals to connect, enjoy good food, and learn about the vital work being done both locally and internationally. A special thanks to all who attended and supported this event, as well as our incredible partners at UWT for their ongoing collaboration.
