Residents and young football people gathered at the event, which was held on Monday night, to enjoy an afternoon of football and community bonding. The session aimed to provide local youth with a constructive outlet and to build a sense of community through sport.
LAYP's initiative has been widely praised by local leaders and residents alike, who see the return of regular sports activities as a positive development for the Snowshill Estate. Organisers hope to make these football sessions a regular feature, promoting physical fitness and teamwork among the youth of Manor Park.
